A restrained look at asylum seekers in limbo, combining quiet performances with lived-in detail

No Time for Goodbye: A Poignant Elegy for the Displaced
It is a film that feels both urgently timely and classically melancholic, capturing a generation that has fled a changing home only to find themselves adrift in an unfamiliar land.

LIFF 2025 REVIEW: NO TIME FOR GOODBYE
Yu and Lam are terrific leading the line with two sensitive and involving performances of people who are making the most of good intentions in a bad situation.
